Eagles Rest Playground Project
A YWAM team from Brisbane Australia helped us build a playground for the children of our church, the neighborhood, and those children of families who receive care from Eagles Rest. Our playground was made possible through the generosity of ACA (Australian Christian Academy) Home schools and their families. The land had to be cleared and six trucks of soil had to be spread as a ground cover. So now we have a rope climb, a set of three swings, a basketball hoop and a metal gym frame, plus many happy kids! Soon we will add: concrete for basketball area; a comfortable place to sit; garden areas and walkways.
